Hammersmith's Community Managers create toys for patients at Children's Hospital

At their annual retreat this December, Hammersmith's Community Managers and their Directors set aside time to spread holiday joy to the young patients at Children's Hospital by creating stuffed toys. They met on Friday afternoon, December 16th, at the Build-A-Bear workshop in Littleton, where they assembled the cuddly friends and competed for small prizes for the cutest, most creative and best personality. The bears were delivered to Children's Hospital and distributed that same afternoon. All of us send our get well wishes to the young ones at Children's Hospital, and the team hopes their efforts provide a welcome and cheerful surprise this holiday season.
Hammersmith Teams Partner with Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program

Last year, Hammersmith team members adopted 3 children during the holidays. This year, we have an opportunity to give back by adopting a family of three through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Christmas Program. This program provides gifts and a holiday meal to children and families suffering homelessness, domestic, and financial crises.
In addition to purchasing gifts for the family, we have purchased food items, and a gift card, for the family's Holiday Dinner. All gift purchases will be delivered to the Salvation Army by December 16th.
At this special time of year, all of us at Hammersmith encourage your generosity with those less fortunate. Thank you for sharing. |
