More Honors for Hammersmith Management Inc., as we celebrate 30 YEARS STRONG as a Leader in Community Management™
Last issue, we included news of our 30th anniversery. This is a milestone very few companies ever reach.
Now, there’s more: In July, The Denver Business Journal recognized Hammersmith Management as one of Colorado’s Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies.
Our sustained ability to grow is a result of our commitment to the highest principles expoused by our industry. We are constantly welcoming new communities and sharing our expertise and experience. For many new Board Members, our free Board Seminars and Workshops Series form the foundation of their newly shouldered responsibilities.
Once again, we are honored to be chosen as one of Colorado’s Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies.
Find us in The Denver Business Journal’s Book of Lists.
One of Hammersmith’s new clients is the recipient of grant!
Every year, Hammersmith is one of the Colorado’s companies that participates in the Community Can-Can event. All of us contribute canned goods that will be forwarded on to the Rocky Mountain Food Bank.
As part of the program, the law firm of HindmanSanchez sponsored a contest. The prize is $1,500.00 toward an association improvement project that fosters and encourages goodwill and community between neighbors.
We nominated Sierra Pointe, believing that a website could make a huge difference for the Board, owners and residents.
The members of HindmanSanchez agreed, and chose our nominee. Sierra Pointe will be the recipient of HindmanSanchez’ first annual Community Can-Can Grant. Work will begin soon, and the website should be up by mid-September.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone at HindmanSanchez for this generous gift, and for their commitment and dedication to this project.

We Salute the Generosity of Three Hammersmith Team Members
Here at Hammersmith, there are many metrics by which we measure our productivity and effectiveness, and we can’t help turning some of them into a competition. And intra-company rivalries can be particularly fun when there’s money at stake! Recently, more than 50 Hammersmith Team Members competed for a $500.00 prize.
The winners were Cheryl Felton, Director of Human Resources, Donna Kanger-Trujillo, our HR Generalist, and Gwen Rohrer, Director of Community Associations for our Northglenn and Loveland offices.
What makes their win even more special is that they agreed to donate their $500 prize to Arapahoe House. Arapahoe House provides life-changing alcohol and drug re-habilitation to vulnerable individuals and families in the Denver area.
Cheryl, Donna and Gwen are special people. On behalf of those whose lives you’ve helped make better, thank you.

Hammersmith 8th Annual Golf Classic: A HUGE Success!
Everyone enjoys participating in the Annual Hammersmith Invitational Golf Classic. This year, it was held on July 15th at Heritage Eagle Bend, one of the most beautiful golf courses in Colorado. Participants know it’s a full day of great food, lots of prizes, good humor and plenty of splendid hospitality, and they weren’t disappointed.
And just as important, the money they helped raise is going to a great cause.
Over the years, we’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars to benefit children, shelters, and hurricane victims. This year, we selected Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting as the beneficiary of our fund-raising efforts.
The Rocky Mountain PBS organization is an advocate for the needs of all citizens, including children, seniors, and minorities. Everything they do, from educational services and community engagement to showcasing local arts and news is based upon creating awareness and service for local communities.
Our contribution will help support community initiatives centered on health care issues, green living, the mortgage crisis, phone banks, Community Cinema and more.
Thanks to all our Board Members and Business Partners who shared the day and made it one of the best of the entire year. Let’s do it again next year!
